6WA and 6WB are BMW option codes. 6WA is the familiar cluster with analogue needles and a small display; 6WB is the full TFT digital cluster with themed layouts for Comfort, Sport and Eco Pro, and room for navigation and media information.
The retrofit means fitting a 6WB cluster and then coding the car to accept it — vehicle order, cluster coding and checks on the rest of the system. This is physical work on the car, so it is done as a mobile visit, not remotely.
Mileage is handled properly. The car keeps its own odometer reading; the replacement cluster must not show higher mileage than your car, and we never alter odometer readings. We help you source the right cluster for your build.
